Westpoint-Sustainable Community Development runs a supplementary school for children and has all the basic policies and procedures in place for running the supplementary school safely and effectively for children.
Westpoint-Sustainable Community Development is a member of the National Resource Centre for Supplementary education. Our teaching courses enables those working in out-of-school-hours settings to develop their knowledge of the education system in England, develop assessment and behaviour management techniques, understand how the welfare of children impacts on their learning, and improve lesson delivery. We have qualified teachers who are experienced in delivering the National Curriculum key stages 1, 2, 3 and 4.they are specialists in Somali and black and minority ethnic groups children. The teachers teach, assist and support the children in English, maths and science.
Westpoint-Sustainable Community Development is in the progress of achieving the Quality Framework’s Bronze Awards for running the supplementary school for children.
