Westpoint-Sustainable Community Development are planning and will soon be launching a computer coding club for children and young people.
This new project initiative is aimed at teaching kids and youths computer coding. This is an after-school program that is meant to be fun and stimulating as well as providing them with a beneficial skill set. Learning computer programming can help kids develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. It also encourages them to be not only consumers of the technology but also creators. We believe by teaching them computer coding they will learn at an early stage how to think logically and improve their problem solving abilities.
The project will be targeted to the Addison and Shepherd’s Bush Green area at first and will gradually cover other areas if successful. We are planning to launch this project very soon.
