Empowering the community
WestPoint Sustainable Community Development is a registered charity and its objectives and aims is the promotion of social inclusion amongst people from the Somali community and other black and minority ethnic groups living in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin or social and economic position.

WestPoint-sustainable Community Development is a registered charitable organisation and our aim is to make a difference to disadvantaged, underprivileged and under represented individuals, groups and communities. We aim to accomplish this by promoting social inclusion, thus strengthening and empowering the community.
Believing creativity and innovation in celebrating and respecting difference in background, identity, ideas and beliefs and encouraging a creative and inclusive working and learning environment.
Advancing knowledge and transforming lives through education and research: we are committed to social inclusion and consistently attempt to address the main drivers of social exclusion – poverty, unemployment, poor educational outcomes, poor health and wellbeing, lack of access to social supports, exclusion from services and discrimination.
Our work will be guided and informed by our beliefs and committed to social inclusiveness and social cohesion we respect people, value diversity and are committed to equality.
